Case Western Graduate Entry Program

Published

Hello!

Tried looking for info about case western but there isn't much out there. I was accepted into their graduate entry program and was wondering what people thought about it?

Anything would help, thanks!

What does everyone think about Case? I'm not sure about the fact that you don't actually get a BSN..

Yeah, I think that part is a little off-putting. Yale's program is the same way

Well, I still have until June or so to decide on Case Western

I wonder why there aren't many threads on Case Western....Is it possible that not many people apply? Congratulations to everyone accepted, and those who were not, congratulations on your other acceptances :) I have DePaul as a backup in case this doesn't pan out, but I don't know much about the school and their aren't many threads on it. I have an interview on Tuesday.

I recently received my acceptance email. Finger's crossed that you are also admitted. Best of luck on your interview!

Thank you, delano. My interview is in about an hour and, about 30 minutes ago, the interviewer just sent me the "GENP Interview Checklist" -_-

Hi FEUR! Was the interview as you expected? for me, It was relatively casual in nature. Rather than feeling tense, I was actually quite relaxed. I enjoyed it.

It was pretty casual....but it's one of those things you just never know. May seem like it went well, but might not be so :/

She said I should hear from them in about 2 weeks. Tuition with them is really expensive though....

I totally understand. Just keep hoping for the best :).

Concerning tuition, it is indeed very expensive. But, I try to look objectively at the upsides and downsides of the program.

There are many upsides to the program :)

Have you spoken to any students currently in the program?

There are definitely a ton of upsides to the program. I'm still amazed that it was the first institution to offer the practice doctorate in nursing, and the first ACNP program, if I'm not mistaken.

I have been unsuccesful in reaching students who have been in the program, or those who are currently enrolled. It seems that many do not know of this program, or rather choose to focus on applying to other institutions.

I'm quite anxious....did it take 2 weeks for you to hear from them? Or was it a little sooner?

Hi FEUR,

It was about 1 - 2 weeks, if I am not mistaken. It wasn't long. Just keep your fingers crossed, and try to do other things to take your mind off of Case :)
