I am interviewing at Case Western and Cincinnati next month and wondered if anyone had any advice or suggestions for me. These are my first interviews and I am not quite sure what to expect. Any help would be great.

I am a current student in Case's program. If you PM me, I can give you a little info.

At UC, the interview is very laid back. There are three people (the program director and two CRNA faculty) who basically just ask you questions about yourself like "What is your biggest weakness?" and "Why do you want to be a CRNA?" They do not ask you clinical questions but there is a written test dealing with EKG rhythms, ABG's, vent issues, vasoactive meds and their receptors. It is really laid back and low pressure so try not to stress too badly about it (yeah right). They will let you know about a week later if you got in. Let me know if you have any other specific questions.

If you've got your CCRN or are currently studying for it, you should be fine for UC. Also, remember to RELAX and be yourself. One thing about our class, is there are no phoneys. Let me or Ami know if you have any more ?'s.
