Carrington Entrance Exam 2019

Published

Hey guys!

I am trying to get into the RN program at the Reno campus for May/June 2019.

I just finished my first attempt at the Kaplan and ended up with a 285/300. Not sure if this will be good enough, but here is my score breakdown:

Math: 96%

Reading: 91%

Writing:86%

Anyone else looking into the May/June start? How did you guys do? Also, if there are any current students out there, how is your experience going so far? ?

Yay!!!! Congrats to you too! Have you decided if you're doing nights or days?

Congratulations you guys! I got my call today too, I decided to go nights.

Yay Congratulations to you both! Bayskees, we'll be classmates!! ?

Hey girls! Bayskees, has Pam called you about coming in to do your registration appointment?

Hey Kristine! I haven’t set it up yet. I was getting anxious though, so I emailed her yesterday and she said she was going to be calling to set up appointments early next week.

Okay, I'm glad you did, because I was about to haha! I remember her saying she was going to call sometime last week or this week, so yeah...I've been getting anxious too!

Hello ladies! I decided to go with the day classes, So, I know Pam said she was getting the day classmates set up first and then the night class will begin the process.

So far, I have signed my enrollment agreement, went to a financial aid group appointment and then a one on one appointment with the financial aid advisor. My advice would be to set up as much FAFSA enrollment now and set Carrington College Idaho as the recipient, Then email those docs to Tobi at carrington. It will save you time.

OH!! and the scrub bottoms are rubbish!, I ordered from Heartsoul, and they are very comfy!!

22 months from now we will be in our new careers as RN's !!!

Thanks for the advice Kendall! I really appreciate it!

HI!

I am taking my Kaplan on June 3rd for the start date of September been studying reading/writing super hard since everyone has said it is the hardest! I was wondering if you could tell me about the math and what kind of math it is? Any info would be great! I hope someone sees this!

Hi agig, good luck on your Kaplan! The math is suuuuuper easy! You’ll have a calculator to check your work, but you won’t really need it. Cross multiply and divide is what I used for most of the problems.

So so I decided to not start this summer. There are a few things going on with my family right now, but I’m actually going to HOPEFULLY be doing days starting in Sept. a friend of mine just started in June on days and she said she like it so far! What do you think of it so far Kendall?

What grade math would you say it is?

I am applying for sept too! Maybe we will be class mates!
