Hi all!

I applied to CCHS for a couple different programs.

Still waiting to here about Summer 2017 pre-nursing as well as Fall 2017 Nursing. Has anyone got a acceptance letter or email? i did receive an email saying that the pre nursing notifications will actually not be till March 17th at the latest. If anyone has any info please let me know!

I applied to the Nursing program in the fall and I haven't received any notifications at all up until this point. Will update.

I applied for fall 2017 nursing and received an email shortly after submitting my app that said it was complete and decisions would be emailed out March 24th. I also confirmed this date via phone when I called to ask another question about the program. So just one more week!

I also applied to the Nursing program for Fall 2017. I am super nervous. I got an email that said we would hear back at the end of March and the website says March 24th. I am so nervous! Good luck to everyone!

I was going to apply to the pre nursing as well, but someone on this forum who had just gotten accepted for the spring said they wouldn't apply to both. They never gave me an explanation. Now I am not so sure I made the right decision!

Also has everyone finished all of their pre reqs? I will graduate with a BA in Biology this summer but am nervous that I am lessening my chances of getting in because I am in Anatomy and Physiology II now and am taking Micro this summer to finish my BA, so those points wont be calculated towards my application.

oh really? I spoke so a someone at the school and they suggested i apply to the pre nursing as well. I applied to pre nursing for this summer.. fall nursing and pre rad and rad tech for back ups... Cant seem to make up my mind! I have not finished all my pre reqs that why i applied to the pre nursing.. Pre nursing a good way to finish your pre reqs and get that spot for nursing if you keep your gpa at a certain number... I forget what the gpa is.

The only thing with the pre nursing with me is that I have already done statistics, and I am in a pretty easy entry level math right now, I will take med term this summer and I will be done with both A&P's so the pre nursing would be pretty pointless for me to retake all of those courses because I have gotten A's. My SAT scores were fairly low, 1050, and my college GPA is only a 2.9 so I think that may hurt me. For pre nursing you have to maintain a 3.25 to earn guaranteed admission.

Totally understand. I do not have all of my prerequisites which is why I chose the pre-nursing program
