Career Switch from Psychology/social work

Hi, I am a 23 year old with a BA in psychology. I've been working as a case manager for the past year and it's been nice but I'm looking for options to advance my career. I'm deciding on whether I should get a masters in mental health counseling or apply to accelerated nursing programs. I've been leaning toward nursing because the pay is better and there's more opportunities for advancement. I was thinking I could even become a psychiatric nurse practitioner at some point down the road. I have a 3.9 undergrad GPA but need to take A&P 1&2, microbio, and nutrition before I apply. Was wondering if anyone else has made this switch and if it seems plausible? Also if anyone done a ABSN how was it?
