How long does it take to be promoted to a supervisor or manager from entry level PHN in public health? My organization doesn't have a defined career ladder.

I don't know, I don't work at your facility. This is an impossible question for any of us to answer.

Some questions to ponder....do you have a Master's degree? Do you have any leadership experience? Is your immediate boss hoping to retire or change jobs in the next few years?

Is it a Civil Service position? If so, there should be education & experience criteria requirements. Also, any union?

She lives in Denver, so I'm guessing no union. I haven't heard of any union presence anywhere here, and I've been here four years.
