Career Changing from Nursing Options

Hi All,

Can someone please advise career options with good pay scale in Health care as i cannot continue nursing as my career due to kids and 12 hours shifts in Ontario.

Can you suggest what are the areas are good for pay more than $20 hours in health care field ?

Is res care or communty health not an option? Pay is similar and you work less hours per day..

If employed by a health authority, it's often possible to move into health records or even food services without loss of seniority and benefits (depending on the unions).

I've seen it happen in my hospital

Have you considered occupational health or working in a doctors office, or community nursing. Those all typically have standard business hours.

You could see if your experience and education meets the requirements to be a pharmacy sales rep.

Other than that, I think we've given you some worthwhile suggestions.
