Career change

Any advice for a nurse who wants to pursue a career in something other than nursing. I have no idea where to start. I'm tired of the constant threat of litigation, the vagueness of the practice act, and the huge umbrella of responsibility. I want to change careers...but I need advice on where to begin..

    Would you keep your nursing and try working as a nurse for an insurance company? Switch to PT/OT/ST? What do you want to do if its not nursing? I'd love to be an ultrasound tech!

    Do you have any computer background, have you thought about medical informatics??? I have a friend who is a RN, she works for a pharmaceutical company. No worries about litigation there I suppose...:smokin:
