Any one with suggestions on where I can find, in print, the Standards of Care for Acute Cardiac Chest Pain presenting in the ED? I know what they are but I need it in print. Any suggestions for sites? Thanks, I am trying to rewrite an outdated policy and do sime education at the same time.

do you mean like, standing order /protocol?
We do:
monitor, 02, heplock (draw bloods at same time), portable cxr, 12 lead ekg, cbc, cmp, ck, ck-mb, troponin, D-dimer, pt, ptt. Then standing orders for asa, and nitro sl. I think we may have ms in there somewhere. By that time, the docs are usually at bedside.
No, not standing protocols, National Standards of Care. I know AHA probably I just can't hit on the right link when I search their site. So if anyone out there knows the link or has a copy and would share I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my post and to all who answered I found what I needed at american heart association. Thanks everyone.

Go to http://www.acc.org (American College of cardiology). Look for the guidelines tab and there you will find more than you may want.
