I was wondering if any one has attending the Capital Health School of Nursing. Any information you could provide would be helpful.
Thanks

Lisa,
I submitted everything all at once. Application, NET scores, Transcripts, References, and money order. I did not have my school's send the transcripts there in fear of them getting lost along the way. I would try to contact admissions via e-mail..i believe it is on the schools website. Good luck and let me know how you make out.

bgberlin,
They contacted me via snail mail about 2 weeks after i submitted my application..i did not need an interview and i had already taken the NET in May of '09 and just submitted those official scores. No they did not tell me how long everyone takes to her but i imagine its fist come first serve and if you submitted right after me im sure you should be hearing soon. and thank you :) im very excited to start

klmd09,
The clinicals are done at both Fuld and Mercer (which is attached to the school). I don't know if I would call the classes "difficult" (although I'm sure some would). I think it's very tiring because there's so much info, and so many tests (especially nursing 1 and 2. They're both in the first semester, so there were 7 tests total, which was a lot). The thing I thought was the hardest was thinking like they think when it comes to the tests. They are multiple choice, and most of the time there's more than one right answer to the questions, and you have to sort out which answer is the most important or most relative. Once you can do that, the tests aren't that bad, just a lot to study. I use the NCLEX books that have sample questions in them to do practice questions, and they also advise you to get another book of questions and practice them. Just don't fall behind, and you should do great. Good luck!
Thanks you so very much for all of your help, i cant wait to start. can you tell me everything you can about the summer pre-course?
lisa, did you ever hear back from the school?

I finally did on wednesday. Since I am still in a Chem 100 class I can not get admission for Sept 2010, I am going to have to wait till 2011. I am a bit bummed out, but there isn't much I can do about it. I am also going to go on the waiting list for Brookdale and see where I am able to start first. Thanks for asking. Lisa
Aw really? They wont take you even if you finish it before starting in Fall? Thats weird i still have to take 2 summer pre-req's.
That is interesting. I guess I will try for 2011.
