  2. Well thank you very much for your help :) please let me know if you come across anyone else starting in Fall 2010. Oh yeah one more thing..how are the instructors? im hoping they are helpful and open to questions.
  3. hi thanks for replying. how is the uap summer course? and what is a gist of info covered in the first year? im starting to get very nervous. also, is it very hard...as in about how many hours out of class do you devote a week to studying
  4. I applied to capital health system in early january and i got my acceptance letter in late january for fall 2010..not sure if anyone is even still waiting but let me know if you got accepted. :)
  5. Aw really? They wont take you even if you finish it before starting in Fall? Thats weird i still have to take 2 summer pre-req's.
  6. Hello everyone, I am wondering if anybody got accepted into the Capital Health System School of Nursing for Fall of 2010. I start in July and would like to meet people prior to beginning the summer UAP course. I do not know anybody going into the program and it would make it a lot more comfortable if I knew a few people before getting started! Looking forward to hearing back from anyone! Kelly
  7. lisa, did you ever hear back from the school?
  8. Thanks you so very much for all of your help, i cant wait to start. can you tell me everything you can about the summer pre-course?
  9. bgberlin, They contacted me via snail mail about 2 weeks after i submitted my application..i did not need an interview and i had already taken the NET in May of '09 and just submitted those official scores. No they did not tell me how long everyone takes to her but i imagine its fist come first serve and if you submitted right after me im sure you should be hearing soon. and thank you :) im very excited to start
  10. Lisa, I submitted everything all at once. Application, NET scores, Transcripts, References, and money order. I did not have my school's send the transcripts there in fear of them getting lost along the way. I would try to contact admissions via e-mail..i believe it is on the schools website. Good luck and let me know how you make out. Kelly
  11. hi sorry i only use my email for school and work related situations. feel free to ask me anything you need on here though.:)
  12. Hello its ok, im hoping the person that gave you alot of information is able to get back to me. So I actually submitted my application January 11th or 12th..and got my letter on the 27th. It was so fast I didnt believe it at first. I just had my appointment Tuesday to confirm acceptance and she did have a hefty stack of applications on her desk, but who knows maybe it will still go as fast. I hope for you that it does. What is your gpa and your net scores? I'll let you know if they are better than mine and then you can see maybe where you stand :) Im very pleased because i don't have the greatest GPA in the world but i guess they were able to look past that. Looking forward to hearing back from you and who knows maybe we can go into this together! Kelly.
  13. I was recently accepted into this program for fall of 2010..i also have a few questions. Are all clinical's done at the hospital the nursing school is attached to? And are the courses extremely difficult? Also, how are tests formatted. Thank you very much for your time.
