Why not share this article with us? Have you looked at the source for its reliability and being unbiased? Here's an article regarding laetrile (vitamin B17 was given to laetrile by E.T. Krebs Jr, but it is not an approved designation by the Committee on Nomenclature of the American Institute of Nutrition Vitamins). Laetrile/Amygdalin (PDQ®) - National Library of Medicine - PubMed Health

I simply Googled vitamin B17 (because, after 10 years of working with pediatric oncology patients in some manner, I've never even heard of this specific B vitamin) and this is the first hit I got:
Cancer in general | Laetrile (amygdalin or vitamin B17) | Cancer Research UK
There is no evidence that laetrile can help with cancer, but some people use it because they believe it might:improve their health, energy levels and wellbeingdetoxify and cleanse the bodyhelp them to live longer
[h=2]Research into laetrile as a cancer treatment[/h]Most of the websites or magazines promoting laetrile base their claims on unsupported opinions and anecdotal evidence. There isn't any scientific evidence that laetrile is an effective treatment for cancer or any other illness.
So, so far, I'm doubting this article was a reputable source.
