Canadian Second-Entry Nursing 2019

I didn't see a page here dedicated for the discussion of Canadian Second-Entry Nursing applications so thought I would open one up!

I've applied to UBC, UofT, Western and Humber and so far have received a conditional offer from Humber. How is everyone else doing?

Looking forward to supporting each other through the next few *nerve-wracking* months ❤️

Hello. Good luck. I was not a second entry student but I did the RPN bridging to BScN. Doing this program, I believed I met some students who were second - entry. I went to the Centennial-Ryerson U pathway.

If you don't mind sharing, what was your GPA and how long did they give you to accept the offer? It's my first choice because I live close by, but still waiting to hear back.

Hello. Sorry for the late reply. My GPA was 3.4 from Centennial and Ryerson only gave me 10days to accept their conditional offer:

1. Successfully complete Centennial College Bridging to University Nursing program w cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher & submit official transcripts of all final grades and proof of graduation.

(The Practical Nursing Diploma completed at Seneca College and Centennial College Bridging to University Nursing program have been used as a basis of admission).
