Hello!
I have read a few things about Canadian RPNS (LPN) getting their nursing Associates Degree in the US. I am just wondering how you do so? How do I know if my RPN credentials are equal to the associates degree in the US and how I go about upgrading them so that they are?
I mainly am asking this because I would love to work in California, and it seems the best way to do this as a rpn in Ontario is to upgrade to the US ADN and then write the NCLEX as I know I would not get a visa in the States with my RPN status.
Any help with this would be awesome, Im not even sure where to start. Thank you

Starting point would be applying to a state and getting assessed. Be aware California will not accept application without a US SSN and that you can not get until in the US with a valid work visa

The RPN is not equal to the ADN at all. In all honesty, you would have to do many classes over. Secondly, with the way immigration rules are going, you won't get a job here in the US. This is why I have had to take my program over in the US after I immigrated here.
