Canadian RN wanting to relocate to California

Hello everyone! I am a Registered Nurse who graduated from University of Calgary with experience in Internal/General medicine. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on starting the process and working in California. Any advice and experiences on relocating to California would be appreciated! 

And I was also curious if any nurses from UofC or any other Canadian University were able to obtain a CA license.
