Canadian nursing degree

Hello every one,

I am going to finish the nursing degree program in Ontario this June. I am canadian citizen, and at the same time i have American green card, my husband and my two doughters are living in the states. I am planing to move there as soon as i finish the school. Can any one give me information of what procedures i should follow to be able to work in the states as an RN.

Suggest you check out the sticky called Primer to working in the US. You will need to apply to state BON (board of nursing) and meet their requirements of foreign trained nurses which can take a few months and also may need CES from CGFNS, they then will give you the OK to sit NCLEX and once passed that you will be able to find an employer (most like to see a pass in NCLEX before offering a job)
