Ok... I have a couple of questions for any Canadian graduates who went through what I'm going through! Or anyone who has any advice. I just finished writing my CRNE last Wednesday. I decided that I am going to write the NCLEX exam in addition to cover my bases so I'll have more options to work. I live across from Detroit, Michigan, but because I need my CRNE results to get the MI license (which will wake 6-8 weeks and there may be a postal strike!) I'm writing with Minnesota instead.
I paid my $115.00 to MN board of nursing, I paid for my NCLEX exam.. all I need now is my actual degree. I won't get it until my graduation ceremony next week. I need to send a copy of my degree with my university transcripts to MN board of nursing before I can get my ATT.
I just wanted to know, what process do I need to go through as well to obtain my Visa Screen? I'm assuming I'll need to pass my NCLEX exam first before I can go through with a Visa Screen, is that correct? What was your experience?
Also, I bought the Saunders Comprehensive Review NCLEX-RN. Nice book! Any advice on how to study for this exam? Prioritizing 'what' to study? And what some new Canadian grads should have a heads up on about this test? I know it's pretty straight forward - study - but I was wondering what areas do Canadian RN's seem to find is weak when studying or taking their NCLEX?
I wrote "write NCLEX" ...I know it's on a computer, haha.

We generally advise to apply for VSC once you have passed NCLEX as you will need to arrange for NCLEX results plus anything else that is required for it to be issued
