Well, thinking back to my loans applications the government wants to know your income, your expenses and how much money you have in savings, RRSP's etc, any income you will earn while in school, etc.
I really don't understand how they work it out. Some of my classmates got every penny they asked for and more, others go the bare minimum. I got tuition, books, and enough childcare money for 0.5 out of 2 children. Thank heavens for the banks student lines of credit...
Thanks Finoa.Do you know where I can go to get more info.I'm not working(I've never worked ).Am I still entitled to financial aid?
You need to be in Canada to apply for a loan and you need to be able to show savings.
You should be searching the Government of Canada Websites. If you have never worked in Canada and have had most of your education in the US you might have problems, you need to check out the schools scholarships as well.
