    Hi kneuroknut,

Congrats on raising your gpa! Do you mind if I ask what courses you took and where you took them to bring your gpa up? I have applied for the u of c degree holder route for this January and currently sit on the wait list as I have a 3.44. The odds of me getting in this year are not looking good so I am planning to take some courses this next year in hopes that it helps me for next year. So I'm just wondering if you have any suggestions for courses to take.

I really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

    Hi kswain8,

congrats on raising your gpa! I was wondering if you have any course suggestions to take in order to raise gpa as I will most likely be trying to do that in hopes that I can get in for 2018. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

@jlindsay, did you do any Athabasca course? Did you send in your transcript for evaluation that gave u an idea of you GPA? Please tell me how you arrived at your GPA calculation?

    Hi ashes12,

I have a BA in psychology so I took a bunch of psychology classes that I thought I could do well in. When I talked to the nursing department last year they said that you could take any classes, so you could take classes that you have previously done well in. I took some that I had previously done in my undergrad as well as some newer ones that I didn't have a chance to do in my undergrad but that I felt confident going into.

If if you have any other questions let me know!
    Best of luck!

Congrats! Do you mind me asking what your GPA was?

Has anyone called recently to see if there have been any changes in the admitting GPA?

Hi @ashes12. I took two courses through Athabasca. Health Sciences I and II. They were time-consuming but relatively easy and quite interesting. Best of luck!
