University of Calgary Nursing Transfer January 2017 - page 5

I applied to the U of C Winter 2017 program! I took the Athabasca University A/P course and haven't done well in it due to some family health issues that have taken most of my time. It is strange for... Read More

Still waiting to hear back! Only 22 people have enrolled, so I'm assuming they haven't sent out the bulk of acceptances yet

    Still waiting. Anxious.

I applied through degree holder route. Anyone know how many seats are available in this route?

I think the degree holder route has quite a few more seats then the transfer route, not too sure about exact numbers though. I've called enrolment services countless times lol. I've also left a voicemail for the faculty, but have not heard back from them (it's been about 2 weeks).

If anyone is still anxiously waiting for the registration packages like me, I emailed yesterday and they told me they will be sent out next week!

Oh good I can stop haunting my mailbox!

Saw my doc for my blood work today. N95 testing today and police check next week! So much to get done

Hey guys! Congrats to all of you who got in. I also applied for the winter 2017 intake as a transfer applicant. I was just wondering if any transfer applicants have been accepted and if so, what were your gpa's?

Hi nt122, I also applied as a transfer and was actually going to comment the same cause I noticed most are degree holders. Curious to know as well

Hey reactiv, I applied with a 3.50 gpa. Hopefully that's enough to get in! Do you mind me asking what your gpa was?

I have a 3.59 GPA, and I've been put on the waitlist until they lower the GPA! I applied to the degree holder route

From my calculations of my last 10 courses it says I have a 3.71, so I thought I would know soon too?? But I'm wondering what's the hold up

Those who have already been notified are told they have 30 days to accept. They are probably waiting for the last 30th day of the last person notified to accept/decline. Does that make sense? haha kind of hard to word it smoothly. For example, I found out on September 15th, so October 15th would be the last day for me to accept/decline.

Maybe it will take until the last week of October until they start going through those that are currently on hold?
