Congrats on getting accepted nt122! Do you mind if I ask what year you are in your current program? Or do you have a full degree? I have applied to degree holder and am on the waitlist. Just wondering if any degree holders are being accepted into the transfer route. Thanks!

Thanks amigone and ashes12! I just took some courses at a college for a year. I actually saw on the website that it says "Degree holders will only be admitted to the Transfer Route as space permits."

Can someone be of some help when it comes to calculating GPA. Ive applied now for the 2nd time after completing a basic english corse at Athabasca and am wait listed for January Degree Holder Route. My question is about using the last 10 credits you completed to do your gpa. I completed an internship at Dalhousie University that was worth 15 credit hours, receiving an A- which puts me at a 3.7 gpa for those credits. Does the weight of those still apply as individual credits (3.7, 3.7, 3.7, 3.7, 3.7) or just as one 3.7?

Im confusing myself over here. I've put this on the back burner for a while now but now I kinda want to figure it out.

When I did A and P through Athabasca, they counted it as 2 half courses, since it was 6 credits. To me, your logic is sound but I would call and ask.

    I only got a 3.0 through Athabasca on a 3 credit course. 15 Credit course (5x3credit course equivalency) (Internship) gave me a 3.7. And if I calculate for another 4 three-credit courses that gives me 4.0, 4.0, 4.0, 3.0. I don't see whats wrong?

If your calculations are correct, consider calling and asking about the status of your application. I think the 3.6ers are getting in, so in theory, you should also have an offer I hope it works out!

Do a search on the nursing site and check out the student handbook. It will guide you. The registration package will come in the mail soon!
