Can anyone give me any information as to the transferability of Canadian nursing licensure to other countries? (Yes, I know most people work the other way around.) I am specifically thinking India, Africa, and the Middle East. Would a Canadian LPN be able to get a PN license in India? What about an RN? Or can anyone point me to a reliable source of information?

For most countries a RN is a requirement and you will need to meet which ever country's requirements for foreign trained nurse. For some it means just completing documentation and for others it means taking their nursing exam. Not all countries have LPN's

A reliable source of information would be the nursing authorities in the relevant countries. You really need to decide where you want to go, as each country will have their own requirements. Many require you to be fluent in the local language; some don't. Generally for immigration purposes RN is required (but I don't know about those countries in particular).
