Can LD nurses work in Australia/US

HI everyone,

I'm in my second year training as an Ld (learning disability ) nurse in birmingham , uk. When (if!!) I qualify , will I be able to work overseas ?? I have seen ads asking for rnmh nurses but none so far for rnld's .... Its got me a bit worried..... :uhoh3:

Unless you have training in all areas while you are in school, your credentials will not be accepted in the US or Canada. Same thing with the nurses who specialize in mental health, unless they have training in all areas, their curriculum would not be accepted. Please look at already posted items under the International section.
