Meeting state requirements will be hard because as mentioned the US nurse training is general and unless you have hours both clinical and theory as mentioned in previous post you may find you are denied application. Also suggest you read up on retrogression as there is a 6 plus year wait for immigrant visa and passing NCLEX and meeting state requirements doesn't give permission to work a work or immigrant visa will be requiredHey there, im an irish midwife (all midwifery/no nursing training) and im looking to move to the USA im wondering if you know if we can work as obstetric nurses in the USA with our degree? If i sit the NCLEX will i then be eligable to work? if you could help it would be greatLo
