can I use a signed & dated passport photo for endorsement application?

Published

Hi,

I have a SC RN license and am completing an endorsement application for a license in VT. It states that I must attach a passport sized photo from within the past 6 months to my application. I have a passport sized photo .... the one I submitted for my SC license. It is signed and dated 10/28/14. The VT endorsement app does NOT state that it needs to be signed and dated. My question is, if I submit a picture that IS signed and dated already, as long as it's dated from within the past 6 months, is it acceptable to use? The app doesn't say anything about having to be signed and dated but also doesn't state that it has to be free of a signature and date. Just trying to find out if it's necessary to get new passport sized photos made or if I'm able to use this one.

thanks !

Did you try contacting VT BoN directly as they have the final say?

I called and yes I can use that signed and dated photo as long as it's from the past 6 months. In case anyone had the same question as me.

And there you go confidence that you have the correct answer from the source. Good luck!

This May seem like a crazy question but where can i get a passport photo that is signed and dated. I'm trying to do an endorsement for my TN license and they need one signed and dated but I have no clue where to get one or if all places do it if you ask. Can someone help?

Walgreens prints passport photos. So does Picture People. You take a black marker and sign and date the photo and voila!
