I'm currently completing my pre-reqs at my local community college and I anticipate on applying for the Spring 2023 ADN program. I have a C in psychology, 2 Bs and the rest are As. I am a caregiver. I plan on taking my ATI-TEAS after SPR '22 semester. Do you guys have any suggestions/advice that could help me increase my chances of admission into the program? (Do I even have a chance?) Please and thank you, anything helps.

I'd say you have a chance depending on your school. Every school is different so you should check what your school requirements are. My school only cared about us getting an 80% in anat and phys and having a certain GPA. Also depends on how competitive your program is. My program isn't very competitive bc were in a very rural area and have class mates who moved from across state because the schools in their area has a massive wait list.

hello ? I say that you have a chance, I'm in pre-nursing as well but if I were you I'd def check your school's program requirements. for the most part though to increase your chances could you take honor-based courses, join an honor society or possibly retake a course to increase chances as well.
in two of my schools that I am looking at there are no interviews, but one does require a CNA license to get into and the other just goes off of GPA and test scores.

Thank you for the positive response, I needed that. Could you tell me where it is that your program is? I'm in Hawai'I, and my options are limited, and the options are competitive. This does push me to strive harder though, so that's a positive. But, I could go off island.

Thank you for replying!! I initially was considering retaking it, but then I thought of planning to really shoot high for our required TEAS test to maybe 'make up' for it. I'm also considering getting a CNA license to add, but will see. I appreciate your response!!

Thank you! I've been looking for a good source to study. I've read a review of the mometrix, and only the slightest few people gave it a low rating, saying that it doesn't really prepare you for the reading and/or not helpful. But the majority of the ratings says it helps a ton. So that left me on the fence, but I still think it'll be a great help. Would you recommend this one? https://www.amazon.com/ATI-TEAS-Secrets-Study-Guide/dp/1516703839/

Hello
First, I would say to be prepared for nursing schools; you need to have a medical background; through reading nursing books or what grabs your attention nowadays, you can find social media accounts offering tips and guides free so you can put your hand on such knowledge free. I can refer you to some of the great nursing educators
in addition you can have courses free about nursing and if you want to be certified on those courses you will pay in the end of the course for the certification which pump your CV as that will help for recruitment if your CV full of certification
the website link: https://alison.com
if I may suggest seek for higher if you can walden unviserity offer online nursing programs and accredutated by CCNE
https://www.waldenu.edu/programs/nursing
check their website might be helpful to articulate your vision for degrees
check the tempo learning method they offer which help student get degrees at thier own pace with guidance.
hopes that helps
