Can I lose my CNA Certification if I show up for the beginning of my shift and not clock in or accept report?

I walked in to my place of work saw the assignment book and walked out and left and said I had quit now I have a complaint on state board stating I have patient abandonment for not liking my assignment. But I didn’t clock in or receive report. The DON threatens to report me and says if I come back I won’t be reported I said if I would come back I would still quit because I don’t want to work there anymore it wasn’t that I didn’t like my assignment I just didn’t want to work there anymore. Can I still get my certification taken away?

Look up the definition of abandonment for your state. Generally speaking, you must have first accepted the assignment. The fact that they are saying they won't report you if you come back most likely indicates that it is an empty threat because they know it doesn't qualify as abandonment and they are just desperate for a warm body.

Careful ---- could this be one of those 'new member' trolling posts?

In the event it is for real, OP, you already quit. The facility will now always have something to hold over your head as a threat.
