I am a nurse with 3 years working experience (mainly in surgeries) in Beijing, P.R. China.
Since my husband and I are planning to move to Astralia, I want to know whether I could get a nursing job.
I was graduated from Xingtai Medical College, majored in Advanced Nursing.
And I have the qualification of being a nurse in China.
With this license, I undertake the duty which is equal to Registered Nurse in Australia.
I had worked in an eye hospital for 2.5 years, and now I am working in a women's hospital near half year.
Since lack of practise, my oral English is poor.
There are some questions I want to ask:
1 Are there any Chinese language hospitals in Australia?
2 Can I get a primary nursing position in a hospital without an Australian nursing license?
3 How can I get the Australian license to become a Registered Nurse? and how long does it cost?
By the way our destination is Sydney.

You need to meet Australian requirements to work as a nurse and that will be get a Australian license, meet the requirements for the nursing board for the state you plan to live. You will also need to pass a English exam.
