Can I get paid while my insurance credentialing goes through?

Hi All—

I’m in the midst of getting my first clinic job and I am waiting to speak with HR again. When you got your first clinic position in regards to health insurance credentialing—were you able to work there in the interim and shadow your physician until it went through? The estimate she gave me was 2 months to complete.

That's totally up to them, but most positions did not allow me to start until credentialing was complete.
