Can I get feedback on my resume?

Published

Hi Everyone!

Any feedback would be much appreciated; I am wanting to apply to L&D jobs. Should I elaborate on the type of volunteer work I did? Or is just stating the company and their mission statement enough? Please either open attachment or read my resume below. (FYI all the dates should be flush against the right side, but the website will not format it correctly.)

Nursing Resume_CourtneyGarcia2.docx

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Objectives are redundant. They know your objective is to get hired.

Everyone has the same clinical rotations its generally recommended to only list those that are relevant or special such as a specialized 6month preceptorship in ICU

Do you not have ANY paid work experience? Volunteer experience is nice, more so if it's relevant to the job you are applying to and/or if it includes leadership or specialty projects.

Having specialty certifications as a new grad may or may not be an asset. Depends on facilities in your area and the attitude of hiring managers.
