Respond to threads and offer realistic insight and advice. Don't fund the one-post-wonder's when they only join to post their gofundme solicitation to fund anything from a whirlwind tour overseas, tuition & fees, licensing and NCLEX costs, last hurrah spring break (actual solicitations posted here and since gone)
Stick to the areas you are familiar with whether encouraging students to post their work then guiding them to the right answer, helping a student think out a care plan, offering encouragement

Encourage students to think broadly by giving them a perspective beyond the lab-check-off mentality; help them grow out of that by exposing them to the ideas that nursing is all about, beyond tasks and implementing parts of the medical plan of care.
Don't give them the answers without having them show their work, or discuss what they've done/learned already; guided discovery is a great educational tool. Ask questions to help them down the path.
Develop your sensor for detecting the request for cut-and-paste to complete homework. Pick up foreign students and explain how to find out more--theirs is often a totally different Ed process and culture from US nursing Ed.
Never answer a request for an online interview--explain that the point of the assignment is to get out of your comfort zone and do a face-to-face with a real person.
Point out how test questions often are asking about something else entirely!
Love 'em even if you wanna slap 'em silly sometimes :) We were all there once-- remember how it felt to be clueless and bewildered.
