Can you get student loans after a Bankruptcy

I am a single mom of 16 month old twin girls with no support at all. I may have to file bankruptcy and am worried that I would not qualify for any student loans to go to nursing school. Anyone have any info about that.

If you go into default on a Stafford loan, you can go through a repair process. I did that 10 or so years ago. I made regular payments for about 10 months and then I was no longer in default. I looked into the info on the Stafford loan page. I believe that since I am no longer in default, I would now qualify for loans. I hope that is the case because I will be applying for next fall ('09).
