I am an excelsior student and I was just reading the care planning section and it occurred to me how alone from one to one bouncing of thoughts for scenarios we all are.
One of the things I valued most about my traditional class was the scenarios and sharing of thoughts and strategies regarding different acute settings and situations we might come across. I don't have that exactly for excelsior and I have heard their clinical proficiency is murder. So I thought maybe we could get an area where we take a day and set up a scenario and all get to comment on how we would treat it. I know what I would do as an LPN is similar to what an RN would do, but I am sure there are subtle differences. Does this make sense to anyone besides me?

Have you checked the Excelsior Peer Network (EPN) boards on the EC website? The CPNE board is full of just that kind of thing! :) There are also EC faculty who chime in with answers, too. Valuable stuff.
