Hmmmm. If I understand correctly, you were interviewed by a manager who wants to hire you, but the Recruiter says no? Who in the world arranged the interview? What kind of rapport do you have w/the Manager who interviewed you? He/she could easily inform the HR Manager that they wish to hire you.
I for sure wouldn't fuss with, or antagonize that Recruiter. Even though she isn't God, it sounds as though she thinks she is. What I would do, if the Manager doesn't, but is still willing to hire you, is go to the HR Manager yourself and see what they have to say about the situation. Good luck!
Thanks so much BIGSIS,what hat happened was that i went for the 1st interview in the same facility and the recruiter sent me to the manager of trauma unit in the facility and the supervisor didnt hire me cos i dont have exp and that place is too busy for green horn like me.So with a friend that works in this med-surg floor talked to her manager who contacted the recruiter to call me and fix another interview with me but before that,i had called the recruiter and she cited for me to go to other hosp.to have a year experience b4 i come back so that she 'll hire me.So when the manager told her to call me and fix an interview with me,she refused but the manager called me and had interview with me but when she went back for my file, she refused forwarding my file to the HR.She is sitting on it for almost 3weeks now.I had to call her yesterday myself but the recruiter told me to go to other hos to come back when i have a year experience. She even hung up the phone on me when i wanted to talk to her.She was really rude.I had never felt so depressed and rejected as i felt yesterday.I dont know what to do.May be,i'll go and apply else where but i really want to work in that hospital cos it is a teaching hosp.

Is it possible to fill out a new app and let the manager give it to HR? That way the recruiter is out of the picture. When I was in school and some were rushing to get NA jobs (so they would have some experience and know which floor they wanted to work on) there was a couple of instances where the manager of a floor was like "I want you to work on this floor" but for some reason no one was calling them for the official interview etc and thats how they handled it. The manager had them fill out a new app, give it them, they talked to HR, and the person had a job by the end of the week.
Maybe this could work for you...

I agree with all of the above. Also, sounds like not so welcoming place.
My friend told me that the manager said she has that option but the thing is that she wants to try and gothru the nurse recruiter since she has my file but after trials if things didn't work, she can now see what she can do.Thanks so much for your advice
Good luck! If the one Manager thinks you are qualified enough for her, it should NOT matter what Ms Recruiter says. Go for what you want, but try to remain polite to anyone and everyone. You will learn that negative word flies through a hospital faster than a fire ever could.
