what can i do if my education can't write the NCLEX-RN assess

hi guys,

my course is a two years' accelerate bachelor of nursing program,2nd degree,what can i do if the nclex-rx said i lost some courses,that i can't write the assess of them,is there anybody who has this kind of exprience?could you give me some advices?

i mean as a RN educated outside US who want to be RN in US has to pass a assess of NCLEX-RN(or CGFNS),to see if the aducation of applicant can fulfil the requirements of being a nurse in America.

but there can be a gap between the education of the applicants and the requirements of NCLEX,because of education sistems of different countries.what a applicant can do in this situation?

What state are you applying into? Do you have a valid SS# that's work authorized or a work visa permit?

If the course evaluation of your BSN degree is considered lacking or deficient, then usually you can find those course or courses to re-take them so that your degree will be equal to that state's minimum educational requirements. The re-take of courses must be pre-approved by that state's BON and they usually have a list of them.

All internationally trained nurses underwent through that process when they came here in the US. It is true that educational systems around the world may vary but the US have set their own guidelines for internationally trained or educated nurses and it is only their decision that matters when it comes to these situations. The CGFNS (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools) is one of many agencies recognized by various boards of nursing here in the US to compare and verify nursing education held outside the US if it meets US standards. If you don't meet that standard, either you are subjected to fill in the said discrepancies by going back to school or whatever the board of nursing that you applied to may suggest.

The US consists of states that have their own respective boards of nursing. You have to choose what state you want to be licensed at and then you can take it from there by meeting their requirements.
