Is it possible for a CRNA to work only with OB patients doing epidurals and c-sections? Is there anybody out there that does this or know someone that does it? I would love to hear anything and everything about this topic!! Thanks!

At my last job we had several CRNA's only working OB. They worked for a private anesthesia company that contracted with the hospital to provide 24/7 coverage for labor epidurals. One of them was also inhouse in our anesthesia call lounge.
You can find such a job if you look hard enough.
Good luck.

A former classmate of mine set up her own business covering OB services in several hospitals. She and several CRNAs did the OB only, the anesthesiologists were not interested in the service but covered all the other anesthesia services at the hospitals. I've also heard that in CA the HMOs (can't think of their name this morning) has an option for CRNAs to do only OB, I think there are also MDAs on the service there. If that's what you want to do, it's out there.
