Can a CNM work as a WHNP?

So I'm VERY interesting in working in women's health. I planned on doing a WHNP program sometime in the future, but I noticed that there are a bit more jobs available for CNM then there are for WHNP. So I thought I'd do a CNM program instead, since they both do the same things, just CNMs also deliver babies. But I'm more into gynecology than obstetrics, and I don't want to just deliver babies MOST of the time. I do know there's a dual CNM/WHNP program, but to me it seems a bit ridiculous to get both certifications for all that money, just to end up doing the same things for both. So if I were to get my CNM, would I be able to get a job as a WHNP?
