Hi, I'm on the night shift and just toying with a few things, I could probably get my answer during business hours asking my own management. But lets see if there's an answer out here in allnurses land.
My girlfriend is an RN with a TN visa to work in the US. She lives in Windsor, ON and works in Detroit, MI. Lots of Canadian nurses do. But my question is, can she work at a VA hospital? I work here as an RN and it's great, it'd be great to get her in on this too.
Thanks Nurses! Hope one of yous guys might have some insight!

VA hospitals require you to have an active USA RN license. You do not require a license for the particular state the facility is located in, a license from any US state is acceptable.

We got a bite!
Even if you're not a US citizen?
She has an active Michigan RN License.

The nurse must be a US citizen.
