Hi everyone---
Took the NCLEX-RN Tuesday morning... I stressed and stressed and then came across the so-called "Pearson Vue 'Trick'" for checking scores early... Can anyone verify that this trick still works/is valid within the past week or so? Has anyone in Massachusetts used it recently? Was it correct?
I want to believe that the "good" pop-up I got (1 hour ago) indicates a pass... but I can't figure out if this trick is still accurate...
Any info would be SUPER appreciated.
Took NCLEX this morning at 8 am, computer shut off at 75 questions. I freaked out as no joke 3/4 of my questions were Select all that apply. Tried to convince myself on my way home that I must have done well because I had two endocrine questions including the very last question. Tried the Pearson Vue trick around 10 am and GOT THE GOOD POP UP!!!! Will be doing the quick results on Sunday!
ok, I have to admit for the last 48hrs I have been stalking this forum trying to convince myself that the PVT worked.... and praying it worked for me.
I took my test Friday 10/18/13 at 2pm and when I walked out of that test I seriously could not breath.... the test shut off after my 75th question and I was convinced that it was putting me out of my misery.....that I had gotten enough wrong to have no chance at passing....my heart was pounding out of my chest, the testing center was an hour away from my house so I sat in the parking lot because I knew I wouldn't be able to drive home without having an accident. So as I sat there I called my classmate who had taken and passed the test a week before me and she convinced me to try the PVT (luckily I had my laptop in my car). So I logged into Pearson and painfully went thru the process of trying to re-register and closed my eyes before I clicked 'next' and when I opened my eyes I saw the "good pop-up" telling me I couldn't register....I had such mixed emotions because I had heard so many different things.... but my friend who had taken it the week before me did the PVT and got the "good pop-up" and 48hrs later found out she passed so I had hope.... so that is what brought me to this forum because I had to hear it from other ppl....
Well.... I am here to say I am a BELIEVER!!! of the PVT...... today I found out that I PASSED!!!!!!!!! Good pop-up = PASS
good luck to all the future testers....
ps. my one piece of study advise is the Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment book by LaCharity, Kumagai and Bartz. I think that book saved my NCLEX-RN life. I feel like I had a test full of triage type questions.. who would you see first... what order would you question, what task would you assign... and this book really nailed that home for each system.... and READ THE RATIONALES!!!
