can anyone tell me about fdtc

I just recently submitted my packet to the nursing program sep 6th and I currently live in Charleston and I was told they accept there county residents first and I wont here any thing intill oct I feel like I lost faith already because applications started being accepted sept 3rd and there only acceptting 65 students and if I don't get in I will have to reapply in march can anyone give me any info on florence darlington tech please

Hi, from what I know they accept local students first. Also, it matters if you have done a majority of your pre reqs with them too. From what I gather, it is basically a luck of the draw type situation. I wish you the best.

It is a long wait, my patience is wearing thin. I have to go to the career talk tomorrow that they require. I called to ask if me not going yet would affect my app. She said if she called back, it was a problem. If not, there is no problem. I got no call so I assume all is well.

I might have to take off a day and go in dec I called them today and they told me they trying to get the letters out end of oct beginning of nov because they have 200 applications to review with only 64 or 65 slots I'm so scared that I might not get accepted then I will have to reapply in march and I don't no how many out of county people they accept

200 apps, I wonder how many are actually qualified by their standards though?

All pre reqs and co regs wise. I am from Florence county, so the location is not an issue for me luckily.

I do not even know what criteria they look for in regards to the acceptance rate.

Hey Hey

I did the career talk today. they said least semesters class had an average gpa of 2.6. They stated that Florence, Darlington and Marion counties get first bite at the apple. It also stressed the importance of passing the background check.

I talked to the lady and she texted Mrs.McMorifice and she stated letters would go out next week.

I figured you would like to know.
