I live in WNY and will have an ADN at graduation. Can anyone tell me about what the starting pay is? Doc office? Hospital? Nursing home? Also, is there that much of a pay difference for ADN/BSN degrees? I am a little on the older side so I would prefer to get an ADN first and begin working for a year to get my feet wet then consider a BSN but if the pay isn't that much of a difference (and I do not think I want to go into Management) then I would consider just keeping myself w/ADN. Thanks and I hope I am not sounding greedy (money wise) but this is a huge move for me, I have a husband and kids so I will have to take out some loans to help pay for this, so the last thing I need is to leave my current job (in an office making decent money and benefits) only to find out that I am going to create debt and not be making much more if I stayed in my current job. KWIM?
Not to mention my fear of failure but I won't go there right now.........
