I'm in my second to last term of nursing school and will finish at the end of August. I'm starting to think about job hunting, but my primary goal is to stay with the hospital that I've worked at for the past two years. I have the name and number of the recruiter that works with new grads and I'd like to give her a call to see what my options are. The problem is that I'm REALLY NERVOUS! Is it too early to start talking to recruiters? What do I say? I was thinking of introducing myself as an employee and asking if I could set up a meeting with her to talk about my options....would that be appropriate? Anything else that might set me ahead of the pack? Any advice would be appreciated!!!

Hey there!!! I am in the same situation as you are...it does not hurt to call and introduce yourself to the recruiter and even the manager if you know them. They can let you know when the program will start and if its too early, at least you can get ready earlier. Lots of luck to you!!!
