Calling all LPNs to read something....

I just logged on and something caught my eye....has anyone else on the LPN forum seen that thread about "NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PCA AND AN LPN"..... I cant even stand to talk about it....go read it. Just rubs me wrong and gave me impression that whoever posted it doesnt have a clear view on what being a nurse is....its more than just a title....why dont people get that????????? Is it really that hard in the big picture or what???

Amen ! Im with you guys...LPN and proud of it! My sister in law is an RN BSN and works in a hospital as one of the big wig nursing people ....she just found out yesterday that come sept. she might not have a job in september....the hospital is cutting out staff..including nurses d/t the economy. LTC isnt most peoples dream job...but at least for me its more secure....I am going to post a new thread about something that happened to me this weekend at work....check it out ....
