Hi everyone,

I'm starting this thread for those applying to Sacramento State's Traditional BSN program for Fall 2025. Let's use this space to share our experiences, questions, and support throughout the application process.

Those who got accepted as an alternate how long did they give you to accept your spot?

Good question.. anyone have an answer?

I was wanting to know when they stop accepting alternates because I am curious about the applicant pool statistics they post afterward. Does anyone know how your placements work?

They gave me 5 days to accept(intent to enroll) or decline it.

Hi all who made it this cycle,

Please make sure you look at the onboarding emails sent yesterday. I logged into my csus email and found a canvas course that walks you through the process. Alina is the point of contact for questions. I got placed at Mercy Hospital in Folsom for the first clinical rotation! Something is due on Monday. Sign up for my clinical exchange (mce).

Good luck!

ps you might want to get a doctor's appointment to make sure your vaccines are up to date and can do a physical and fit test. I have to do my TB test again it's outdated.

Class of Spring 2027,

Has anyone attended to the CB onboarding requirements and found the one for influenza immunization confusing? Canvas says immunizations are due on August 1st. In the CB account, it says it must be administered after August 1st.

I have messaged the support email, but have not heard back yet. Anyone have a clue on this?

Thanks.
