Hey ya'll just wanted to start the topic for Cal State Long Beach Fall 2024 Nursing Applications. I previously got rejected (from waitlist) from Long Beach for the Spring semester so I'm taking a gap semester and hoping to get in this Fall. I know Long Beach doesn't consider service outside military but I did mention I'm working as an EMT during my interview which I believe helped me a little in the communication exercise. Feel free to share your own stats and goodluck everyone!
(I applied in the Spring with a 90.1 overall and a 79 reading so I recently retook it this December and these are my current stats)
Science GPA: 4.0
Gen ED GPA: 4.0
TEAS Cumulative: 94.2%
TEAS Reading: 94%
Impact Score: 9.764
Impact Score Formula: (Science GPA) + (Gen ED GPA/2) + (TEAS Overall x .02) + (TEAS Reading x .02)
Were you given your school email in the acceptance? I can't seem to find mine and it's needed for the acceptance process.

Unfortunately you need your school email to sign in on there. The application self-check states my admission notice should have included my school email, but it didn't. Maybe I have to wait for another email from admissions. 🤔

When I was admitted as a freshman, they sent me an email with my school email after I accepted my offer so you might have to wait for that
Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone here is a second bachelor applicant from UCI. I'm planning on applying to Spring 2025 and was wondering if D170 counts as the anatomy prerequisite. I'm confused because our anatomy course is 5 units on the quarter system (equal to 3.35 semester units) and doesn't meet the minimum 4 units for that prereq.

Alternatively, to create a special place for your cohort:
Members with at least 15+ posts OR who have purchased a Platinum membership can create a student "Club" for their cohort.
Click on the "Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.
Click "Start a Breakroom Club".
Invite members at your discretion.
Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a group chat (yet) for those attending the program this Fall but I do recommend looking on facebook for CSULB's housing group regarding off-campus housing, they post there pretty regularly. Dorming is convient but objectively really expensive. Also the New Housing Applicant deadline is May 15th btw. Also, if anyone else was accepted for Fall feel free to get to know me

I've been getting so many notifications from the university telling me to enroll in courses for next semester but I was under the impression the SON decides our course schedule at/after orientation. please lmk if my assumption is correct ;-;

Yes, I believe we get our schedules at or after orientation! I don't think we have to do anything right now, I think we're just waiting for more info on orientation.
