Thats a great score! Do you happen to know if CSULB basically just takes the top scorers in terms of GPA/TEAS + comms exercise?
I got a friend wondering if theres any other factors considered or if its only the top applicants.

Great Job !!
I'm applying with a 4.0, healthcare experience, non bilingual, and an 88 TEAS:(
I don't have enough time to retake it and highly doubt I'll make the cut but going to try anyway.
Please update us here ! You definitely got this <3
Congrats on the 4.0 thats a huge accomplishment in itself. The nursing deadline is feb 1st if im not mistaken. I know a couple of peers who got in without a 90+ TEAS so hope is not totally loss.

I think it's solely based on GPA and TEAS so I'm assuming it's all based on the points! I don't they look at experience or recommendation letters. I think if you're a veteran you get an extra point added to your impaction score as well.

thanks for the oz of hope LOL. Who am I kidding. It honestly felt like busy work but guess I can't ever know for sure unless I try. Applied to 4 CSU and 6 ADN so if nothing bites I'll retake the TEAS and apply again for Spring.
Reading the other forums, last year students found out Feb 8, and the year prior to that got the announcement on the 11th of March. @cheek nerd you'll definitely get an invitation considering your scores, so I think as long as you haven't heard anything yet, we should ALL be "good" as of right now.... but let us know if you hear anything

Hey ya'll just wanted to start the topic for Cal State Long Beach Fall 2024 Nursing Applications. I previously got rejected (from waitlist) from Long Beach for the Spring semester so I'm taking a gap semester and hoping to get in this Fall. I know Long Beach doesn't consider service outside military but I did mention I'm working as an EMT during my interview which I believe helped me a little in the communication exercise. Feel free to share your own stats and goodluck everyone!
(I applied in the Spring with a 90.1 overall and a 79 reading so I recently retook it this December and these are my current stats)
Science GPA: 4.0
Gen ED GPA: 4.0
TEAS Cumulative: 94.2%
TEAS Reading: 94%
Impact Score: 9.764
Impact Score Formula: (Science GPA) + (Gen ED GPA/2) + (TEAS Overall x .02) + (TEAS Reading x .02)
