Best hospitals to work at in LA? I am unfamiliar with LA traffic so not sure how long commute times are just from looking at a map. Any hospitals in that area to avoid?

Specializes in Med-Tele; ED; ICU.

I'm from California but about 450 miles north of LA... traffic was one reason that I left LA 25 years ago.

Here's an idea, though...

During commute times, go to Google Maps, turn on the "traffic conditions" feature, and zoom in to the areas of interest. Also, enter a start and stop location and request directions and you will get estimated drive times.

good luck, you will be in traffic on any shift you work... downfall for living in LA.... Look for 12 hour shift jobs so that you only work 3 days a week and don't have to sit in too much traffic.....

Look at mission community hospital, my friend worked there and I'm from the valley so I imagine, the commute can't be too bad lol, not sure from playa vista though.... she got hired there as a new grad. Good luck
