California 2018 Nclex Results

Published

Hi, I just took my NCLEX PN in California on October 30 2018. I took about 160 questions. So for anyone that just took their exam here in California know how long it takes for anyone to receive their NCLEX Results by mail? I haven't tried the PVT. I'm to afraid to even try and I don't want to confuse myself and do it wrong. I just want to know how long it takes to get results by mail. I know it's says about 6wks I just want to see if anyone has gotten sooner than that.

Here is a thread discussing same, from 2016:

You could do an additional search for "NCLEX results California by mail" using the search option, upper right-hand corner.

Hope you find out soon!

I'm in California as well took mine oct.19th got letter in the mail 10days later.

I took my NCLEX PN back on September 4th and found out about a week after that I passed. For California, the NCLEX PN results take about a minimum of 3-4 weeks to be mailed out. I took for the third time and went the whole 205 questions. All in all, about a week if you passed and 3-4 a most.

Thank you for sharing. Congratulations on passing! This is my first time I don't feel as confident that I did good. I mean this exam is nothing like anyone explains it. You just have to take it and see it. Did you pay right away when you found out you didn't pass to retake the exam? I want to do that so I don't have to wait any longer to get approved by the boards and wait for my ATI number.

Thank you. It's very common for people not to feel confident after taking it. I didn't feel too confident honestly when I went the whole 205 questions I kept thinking about it because it is different then any other exam you've taken in LPN school. Very different. I did pay right away to retake it when I found out I failed the second time and waited I think like 2 months for my ATT to get emailed to me because I paid for both re-application fee and the exam fee to PearsonVue. I can honestly say that after passing the whole exam was a complete blur. The whole week after waiting was intense I didn't even want to check the mail each time lol. But sending you positive vibes.

What did you use for studying and reviewing material. Its been awhile for me, and I need to take the exam and stop being scared.
