California LVN BreEZe

Updated:   Published

Has anyone from California that passed their NCLEX recently used breeze to get their license? If so, how long did it take to get your license? ?

I just found out I passed last week and I used breeze to pay for my license, it says "Pending", do you guys know how long that will take to be processed? Thank you.

Update: My license number posted on breeze today. It took 6 weeks and 5 days. :) Some of my classmates were also getting them around the same time frame so maybe they're speeding it up before the holidays.

@griseldab2001 congratulations!!!!!!

@ValerieW thank you :)

I paid for my initial license through breEZe on November 14th. I called the BVNPT today because it still says pending on breEZe. The lady I spoke to said they are currently processing payments for October 12. 😟 I would rather go to Sacramento and pick up my license than wait another month. Does anyone know if I will have to pay again for my license if I pick it up in person, or will they see that I already paid through breEZe?

@LVNmas15 the wait for active licenses is anywhere from 6-9weeks. If you drive to sacramento you can only pick up your TEMPORARY license which most places won't accept because the temporary license doesn't get posted to the website only ACTIVE licenses do, which is what most employers want to see.

So either way you have to wait 6-9 weeks for your active license to get posted, but you can go to sacramento to pick up your temporary license which is free if you have already paid for your active license on breeze.

@LVNmas15 I also considered driving 6+ hours to Sacramento but I found out that all they give you is a paper stating you can work now but no actual license # so if you're applying online it's basically useless because they always ask for a license #.

I paid mine October 19 and my license number posted already so their dates are definitely off.

I have a job waiting. All I need is my license. I asked if they would accept my temp license until my actual number posts, and they are willing to use my temporary for now. Otherwise, I doubt that I would make the trip. I paid for my license November 14th, and have been waiting nearly a month for it to post.

the dates tht the board is giving out are definitely off in some way . here's my timeline : Took my NCLEX Nov. 17th received my letter Nov. 25th paid the fee on Nov. 28th and Dec. 17th my license number posted on Breeze . GoodLuck to all of you who are still waiting because i know its agonizing especially when you're ready to get out the on the floor already í ½í¸©í ½í¸”

@NurseNaya2016 wow that was fast!! Congrats :)

Hello took my Nclex PN exam yesterday 1/27/17 how long before the breeze shows anything with my name I did the PV trick and got the good pop up 😕

hi. I tested on 1/26 and still haven't heard anything and also did the PVT and received the good message.

Hello! I am from CA and I took my retake NCLEX on 1/30/17. I got my passing letter a week later on 2/6 (my birthday!). I paid for my license that following Sunday 2/12 on the Breeze website by debit card. They issued my number on 2/14 and I just got my license in the mail today on 2/18! So it took a total of 6 days to get my license using Breeze. I think it would be the best way to go for anyone in CA. I lot of my other friends said it took weeks. Hope this help!!! 😄
