California CRNA and the Maximus program

Does the Maximus program have delineated requirements for recovery in regards to CRNA's? As in, because you are a CRNA, do they REQUIRE 90 days inpatient treatment? If outpatient is allowed, are there specific requirements that the program must meet? Thank you!

I don't know about how the being a CRNA would be any different than the rest of us. But when I went through the program as and ADN the program was cookie cutter and very strict. I was not permitted to work for close to a year (Went on disability) . I was not required to do inpatient. I did and IOP. I had to do 90 12 step meetings in 90 days. Initially had UDS twice a week. When I had my 2nd DEC meeting I asked for permission to return to work. It was granted but without narcotic access. It wasn't until my 3rd DEC meeting that I was given narcotic access.

I will tell  you that the BON's mandate is public safety and they are not your friend. They do not care if you have a job, a morgage, kid in college etc.... and they likely won't let you work for some time anyway.

Navigating the Maximus program is tedious and feels way more like punishment rather than treatment.

Hang in there

Hppy.

PS. The reason that I didn't have to do inpatient is because I had taken the Bull by the horns and was already in the IOP program when my program was put together. I woul dhave had to go inpatient if I had relapsed.
